Judith Vergara García's drawings

Judith Vergara García (Lima, 1986) enjoys the advantage of being raised in a family of artists, including her father, a self-educated painter. This allowed her from her early childhood to get involved little by little in the world of drawing and painting, an art which now matures in the Peruvian National School of Fine Arts, in Lima.

Talking with Judith, we notice a young student who gets very involved with her art. She studied other courses. She even finished other studies, but art always calls her back. Now, she is showing us some of her work here.

Judith is showing on Heptagrama works among which some stand out for their psychological strength. She enjoys using the black lead for its similarity to the dark and old-fashioned look of back and white photography, her favourite.

Fond of Charles Chaplin's films, Judith says she stills has a lot to show. Her work now and then features in Lima art galleries. It is then when you can enjoy her.
