Gin
Gin is liquor made from juniper berries, but flavoured with other plants, depending on the taste its producers want to obtain. The type of gin most widely used for cocktails is the London dry gin; you can assume all these recipes are prepared with this variety of gin. You can prepare many classical cocktails with gin.

In all cases, add a slice of lemon and a stirrer to garnish.

I don't know exactly how it happens, but this cocktail is called white lady because it really turns white after you mix it. Try it yourself, mix all the ingredients in a shaker and next serve, without ice, in a flute glass. The usual garnish is a maraschino cherry in the bottom of the glass and a piece of lemon on the rim.
